LIFE ON THE SURFACE

Every machine.
A little more home.

A place on Mars comes alive through the work of its crew. Follow the power, the water, and the rovers bringing supplies home.

Explore the homes ↗
01

Choose a home

Select a marker on the Mars globe or find a commander in the home directory. Each home opens into a full 3D space.

02

Follow the work

Orbit the scene, zoom in, or tap equipment. Watch buildings produce resources and follow rovers and robots beyond the gate to explore and collect.

03

See resources arrive

Each completed cycle adds a batch to the home’s collected total. Follow the countdown, floating delivery markers, and collection log.

04

Meet your neighbors

Every 3D home has a visible guestbook. See its likes and recent notes, reply to a visitor, or leave a message while the crew keeps working.

FIVE RESOURCES. ONE GROWING HOME.

BEFORE YOU VISIT

A few things to know.

Do I need to keep the page open?

No. Collection follows the home’s clock. Returning later includes the cycles completed while you were away. The totals show resources collected since surface operations began.

What does pausing do?

The pause button stills the scene so you can inspect it comfortably. Resource collection continues. Resume the animation to see the crew at its current point in the cycle.

Can I visit other users’ homes?

Yes. The guestbook and likes are visible as soon as you enter a 3D home. Sign in with Google to like the home, reply, or leave a public note. The Commander’s private agent conversation stays separate.

What is a home’s main building?

Every home has exactly one main building that represents its function: a main laboratory, open-pit mine, grand dome greenhouse, assembly plant, or rocket and launch pad. Zhen Base’s central rocket is its main building. All other buildings are functional buildings. A main building can have resource production, but it is not required.

How do the agents work?

Zhen Base has four field collectors: EVA and ATLAS are rovers; NOVA and ORION are robots. LUMEN tends the greenhouse and FORGE operates the fabrication arm. All six share Home Comms alongside the 3D scene. The Commander can @mention a member to assign supported work, or ask an agent to stand by after the current batch. All agents reply in English. Task reports appear directly in the same group conversation. Field cargo is credited after unloading; station agents share their building’s existing output.

Why do some homes say “3D spatial layout”?

Some homes have a dedicated 3D model. Others have a functional layout representing their facilities. The original home image is always available in Photos.
